Musings on Massage

here is a meditation on being present in the body and connecting to who you really are through the medium of massage...

take a deeper breath, sink into the table, let gravity take over, surrender
feel your body soften, let you skin melt, merging the boundaries of the physical self with the non physical self
become aware of the breath, effortlessly moving within and without,
connecting you to all that is
connect to the present moment
allow resistance to fall away
feel the joy of being in the body
feel the joy of not being a body
but
spirit dwelling therein

receive
, become passive, open your inner eye to in-sights

on the in breath, draw all energies you have sent out into the world back to yourself, fragments that have been given away, misdirected---reclaim your focus, back to you

on the out breath, release any thoughts that no longer serve you
thoughts of doubt, worry, fear, unworthiness, dispair,
just let go

breath into your intention, breath it into you
embody your ideals

exhale all obstacles
soften the grip on your negative self talk
watch your thoughts float like clouds in the sea of your consciousness
they come and go, changing with the wind
your awareness like the blue sky, holding it all
so focus on the vast,
infinte sky part of you

breathe into the space between thoughts



e x p a n d your awareness to areas of tension, and watch moment to moment as they become less tangible
acknowledge the good feeling places in the body
awaken your senses, and drop into NOW, immerse your Self in the sensation of touch and being connected to another human being
separateness is an illusion

loosen your attachment to what 'should be' and embrace what is
notice how it all changes........the
truth of impermanence

embody peace


generate a loving gaze, one of curiosity and compassion, for your experience
remember, as your future/past thoughts dissolve, that
you are one with source

tap into the well within, the place that always is well,
essentially whole
look for it
expect it

now ask, is there anything i can soften just a little bit more?
can i R E L A X into the moment and redirect my awareness to feeling good?

from the feeling good place,
inspired and right action is possible
and from receiving massage, we can practice feeling good
like any meditation practice, the intention is to bring awareness to how you are living your life
are you living from a feeling good place of allowing or a feeling bad place of resistance?

be intentional about feeling good and watch your life become
JOYFUL AND ABUNDANT
