Purchased in the Winter of 2008 as a foreclosure, the MAD house had been vacant for over a year. This is the story of our excavation and rehabilitation of a home with nearly 100 years worth of ‘remodeling’. By installing upgrades for higher efficiency, non-toxic finishes and products, we strive to restore the original charm of this home as well as integrate green building practices.
