Sacred Space

I have just received a very rich and insightful channeling session from my new, dear friend Katie Winters. During our session she instructed me to claim a space all my own where I can continue my healing work; a sacred space. She clearly included all the essential elements of a sacred space: objects that inspire and create beauty, grounding a space with an altar to serve as a visual cue for one’s inner work, and carving out a space that is private. This was affirmative in two ways. First, for me to continue my inner healing process and spiritual practices with discipline, ease, and joy I would need to anchor my place of practice in a very practical way. A home for my own inner work that does not share space with the healing work I do for others, my life with my partner, or other household activities. A shoji screen, simply, could partition the space. Secondly, part of my organizing business is connecting others to their healing potential through spaces. This assignment will offer me a way to shift in a deeper way toward honoring my inner work, and offer an example to clients of what they can create for themselves.
